Concept
Pastel en Lumière is an immersive exhibition in the artistic universe of one of the most eminent figures of the impressionist movement, Berthe Morisot. As co-founder and doyenne of this revolutionary movement, Morisot brought a unique sensitivity to the art of her era, capturing the light and essence of everyday life with incomparable grace.
The digital exhibition features a selection of six of his works created with the pastel technique, demonstrating Morisot’s ability to master this technique with remarkable virtuosity. We thus find “Dans le parc”, “La Cueillette des oranges à Cimiez – (Nice)”, “Jeune fille lisant”, “Femme et enfant au jardin”, “Fillette au jersey bleu” and “Portait de Marthe Givaudon”.
